Tea and snacks are available 24 hours a day, while complete meals are offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. You can walk into the kitchen and feel the hum of activity as they peel and chop vegetables, cook them, serve meals, and clean up. Food is prepared in massive vats beneath raging fires. Anyone is welcome to volunteer or eat.
Every day, on average, 25,000 free meals are served. Dal-chawal, sabzi-roti, and kheer are among the dishes served. The ghee-and-dry-fruit-laden 'Kada Prasad' is also distributed.
